COSIM-TSS is an innovative offering of patent-pending tables and storage units created to promote and facilitate on demand medical training, from task trainers to high-fidelity manikins. Tables are mobilized with casters and easily reconfigured for post-training debriefing, with monitors deployed. Product concepts were conceived by medical training professionals in collaboration with a world-class academic and medical institution partnering with industry and government.

COSIM-TSS can assist in minimizing one of the most expensive capital assets... space. Tables can be be utilized for training or general storage in conference rooms, staff and public spaces or for specific department equipment and supply storage.
A total of six woodgrain and colored laminate combinations compliment virtually any design aesthetic from conference rooms to staff lounges, patient areas and clinical departments.
Conference Table dimensions: 96”d x 57.5”w x 30”h
Internal frame and corner supports are metal. All components and internal lift mechanism are integrated with bolt-through hardware. Panels are high pressure laminate on multi-ply core. Table frame and deck are stainless steel. Metal V-channel under table seam protects internal contents from spills.
Table adjusts silently to variable heights, operated by a switch in control panel at head of table. Power requirement is 110-volts. Height to side panels is 30”. Training surface height has unrestricted range from 23” below top, to 36”h.
Top mounted finger grommets (below), are used first to open center of tabletop. Outer table leaves are supported by two heavy-duty support arms. With center of table open, easy release tabs on each support arm are depressed to lower top panels. Outside top leaf capacity 100-lbs.
All units have a top mounted replaceable core key lock for securing internal contents. Control door also has a standard replaceable core key lock. Both locks are keyed alike. Pictured above is Double Monitor Mounting bracket after mounting arms are removed for storage.
Optional Monitor Mounting brackets are black powder-coated metal with universal mount for one or two monitors up to 27” (monitors not included). Mounts at head end with quick release arms for storage. Mounts rotate to landscape or portrait orientation.
All tabletops are pre-drilled at the control end to accommodate up to (2) two standard IV-Poles (poles not included). Poles may be mounted on either side of control end.
All tables are equipped with 4” single-wheel, stem-mounted hospital bed-grade, casters. Braking system in neutral allows all casters to be unlocked (free-wheeling). When brake pedal is fully depressed (red), all casters are locked.
The foot activated mechanism sets one caster tracking directionally for smooth steering during transport (green). Fully locked position (red), provides rigid stability when table is configured for conference, debriefing, task/procedure training or fully deployed for simulation.
Top mounted lock secures simulation devices and equipment in storage compartment (under top). Table height control, facility power cord, table motor cord and facility cables (see below), are also secured with lock on control panel door. Both locks have replaceable cores and are keyed alike unless specified otherwise.
External connections above door include two outlets, two USB ports, one HDMI and Ethernet port. Connection from high-fidelity manikins to devices or computer exit through grommet behind door. Cables may remain secured to internally stored manikin while devices remain attached to control laptop, secured behind locked door.
Optional Secondary Surface allows participants to stand next to the table for task training or demonstrations. Three 26” x 26” stainless-steel panels protect stored equipment and when not in use, are conveniently stored at end of table.
When mobilizing in narrow areas (33.75”w with top at sides), the Secondary Surface allows manikin to remain concealed under the Secondary Surface so it will not be mistaken for a human body.
Table ships banded to a pallet, stretch-wrapped and corner padded with minimal debris after unpacking.
